Talayuela (SPAIN)

Talayuela is a municipality in the north- east of Extremadura that was founded in the XVI century as an extension of Plasencia. With a population of 8,400 inhabitants, 33% have a Moroccan origin. Its economy is based on the agriculture, above all the growing of tobacco, although other alternative growings have already started.
